Second Roundtable :Reconstruction of Nineveh Governorate and its Effect on the Empowerment of the Iraqi State
The reconstruction of the liberated cities and territories, including the Nineveh governorate and Mosul, from the domination of ISIS, plays a great role in stabilizing peace in the country
The Iraqi people are looking forward to systematic attempts at reconstructing the liberated territories. This would naturally lead to grant a feeling of belongingness to the people of these areas. On the other front, any lack of fulfilling such a mission would negatively result in the loss of trust towards the government, and what is even worse is the feeling of injustice and loss of hope in a brighter future. The main questions in this regard are the following: what are the best ways to motivate the Iraqi government to take the responsibility of reconstructing the liberated territories in the Nineveh governorate and what are the proper methods of implementing the proposed plans?
