Third Roundtable :From Solving the Roots of Conflict to the Empowerment of National Unity:

There is a transactional relationship between the empowering national unity and the power of the state to derive its legitimacy from various Iraqi ethnicities, as well as its ability to confront different forms of violence.

These goals may be achieved through overcoming violence and sectarian and ethnic conflicts, which are a threat to political, social, economic, and security stability. To reconstruct trust, which is a significant political and social capital, it is important to activate a comprehensive political and social dialogue. Constructing a civil state that tolerates the freedom of belief and guarantees it for all ethnicities depends on the equality of rights among all people and motivating them to have active participation in political arenas. Without prior procedures, it is difficult to overcome the critical threats that face politics in Iraq. The main questions in this regard are the following: what is the best way to overcome violence and to stop political manipulation of sectarianism? What are the best ways to achieve national unity?  :Third Roundtable
