First Roundtable :Reconstruction of Trust in the Iraqi Society
One of the main crises from which suffers today is the problem of trust among different Iraqi ethnicities on the one hand, and on the other hand among people and the Iraqi government.
This problem has reached critical levels in recent years after the domination of ISIS over the Nineveh governorate and other territories. Thus, after this turmoil, the first step to stabilize permanent peace among the Iraqi society and government is to reconstruct trust. This is achieved only through rebalancing the distribution of power among the capital and other cities in a just manner. Hence, the preceding procedures are the path to national reconciliation among the Iraqi government and people. The main questions in this regard are the following: what are the necessary means for the reconstruction of trust between the Iraqi government and people? What may empower nation identity and realize equality among all people without discrimination?
